The Backyard Farm produces deep nucs for sale. Nucs are all made by us in our apiaries in Northern Virginia and the Piedmont with our own frames of bees. We primarily use Carniolian Queens. Queens are a mix of those we rear ourselves and others sourced from French Hill Apiary and Strachan Apiaries who engages in hygienic breeding.
2025 Nucs will be about $225 and available for pick up in Gainesville, VA probably May 1-15, 2025.
